The City of Warner Robins, Community Development Office has received notification from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development that it is eligible to receive $123,112 in Community Development Block Grant-Recovery funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

In order to receive this funding the City must prepare a substantial change amendment that is to be submitted to HUD on June 5, 2009. The public is invited to provide comment on the substantial amendment which is available for review at Amendment to FY 2008.

Final comments must be received no later than 12 noon on May 28, 2009. In addition, citizens wishing to provide public input are invited to attend the City Council session on June 1, 2009 where City Council will be voting on the approval of the substantial amendment.
