The Warner Robins Police Department is launching a new Community Information Service designed to deliver neighborhood-level information to residents in our area using the latest technology. This free service, created by Nixle, LLC delivers trustworthy and important neighborhood-level public safety and community event notifications by web, email, and cell phone.
Nixle, LLC developed the system to ensure secure, trustworthy, and reliable communications between government agencies and the communities they serve. Warner Robins residents can now be informed to events such as road closures, missing children, endangered missing adults, potential suspect information, and other events related to the Warner Robins Police Department.
Users have the option of receiving messages through means of text messaging (standard text messaging rates apply), email, or by simply viewing them on the Nixle website. The user information provided to Nixle upon registration is private and will not be shared. Messages contain no advertisements or spam.
Nixle was founded in 2007 and is partnered with the non-profit organization NLETS, a computer based message switching system that links together all local, state and federal law enforcement agencies throughout the United States. Nixle, a privately funded company, is provided as a free service to government agencies.
Citizens can register by accessing our website at wrpolice.org or nixle.com.
